Project Description
The Climate Datathon 2022 ,was hosted digitally. The hackathon brought together statisticians, designers, developers, communication specialists, and researchers interested in data and climate change. The three-day competition witnessed the participation of 2-3 member teams and individuals who, alongside mentors, crafted impactful data visualizations addressing key themes such as reducing greenhouse gases, adapting to climate change, and exploring socio-political-economic aspects in the context of Georgia's vulnerability to climate change. With a substantial prize fund of 10,000 GEL, participants unleashed their creativity through interactive visualizations, infographics, games, quizzes, animated videos, and other innovative formats.
