DemTech Hackathon 2022

The DemTech Hackathon 2022, a collaborative effort by DataFest Tbilisi and the Alliance of Democracies Foundation, has hosted the hackathon at DataFest Tbilisi 2022 site. The hackathon brought together a diverse community of democracy defenders, activists, and entrepreneurs committed to leveraging technology for the advancement of democracy. The winning team secured automatic admission to the Democracy Tech Entrepreneur Fellowship and a chance to present their solution at the Copenhagen Democracy Summit in May 2024, with additional opportunities for monetary prizes. Organized by the Alliance of Democracies Foundation and ForSet, this hackathon underscores a commitment to fostering democracy and technological innovation in the region.
